Now more than ever before, an unprecedented number of Afghan women are participating in the formal private sector economy as entrepreneurs, business owners. Nevertheless, they are facing significant challenges in their businesses due to the lack of having the necessary business skills. Fortunately, women can make significant economic contributions if they are empowered through essential business skills and business management training. To get the better of the mentioned challenges the SIYB- Afghanistan Company implemented a simplified, compact, six-day skilled-based business planning, finance and costing, marketing, and operational management training packages to support women-owned agribusinesses, under USAID funded AVC-Livestock project in four regions Central (Kabul), Northern (Mazar-I-Sharif), Western (Herat), Eastern(Jalalabad) of Afghanistan.
